LAST YEAR, after the ELECTION here in sweden i got a note in my post box. it was full of rascist bullsh*t and i made me more mad than i had been in a long while. how can anyone think that they are better or have more right to live somewhere than anyone else? Im profoundly worried about this beacuse it makes no sense to think that you have to look or be a certain way to "fit in". how is any of that logical when we're all humans? so first i wrote a reply to put in my neighbours post boxes, but i failed to complete the note. it's hard to be constructive when you're angry and i failed to put it in writing. but i had to do something beacuse otherwise i would be condoning the bullsh*t. so i started drawing instead. these three gals. and they embody everything that i wanted to say. we belong together. no matter how we look. no matter where we come from. NO MATTER what issues we carry or dreams we hope for. NO MATTER what victories we've won or what scars we have.we are united by our humanity. we belong together. and that's enough. and nothing can change that. these women also say something about women sticking up for women, to fight that fight too, because inequality is also a huge issue we need not only adress but deal with.
